Good morning. DODD has made some revisions to the compliance review tools, which are attached. These go into effect on October 1st.

 

 

Dear Stakeholders,

Attached to this email you will find our revised Compliance Review Tools for use beginning Oct 1, 2019.  Although you will notice that many items are highlighted as changes to the tool, most changes were minor in nature.  The changes can be categorized as;

  1. Renumbering all questions in the tool. In the past the review tool started at Section 2 and skipped Section 6. The tool is now numbered in a consecutive ascending order.
  2. Revision to guidance to better align with the rule
  3. Combining several questions. For example, first aid and CPR training are now asked in the same question.
  4. Adding 2 columns for Section and Subsection which match our database, Review Data System. Definitions (see below) of the section will assist the user in identifying when the question should be asked of the provider, licensed facility, or county board.
  5. Early intervention all questions were updated based on changes to the rule.
  6. Assistive Technology section was also added to match rule requirements.

Changes have been made in the Agency, Independent, Ancillary, and ICF Compliance Review Tools.  The Final versions, without highlights will be sent to each of you on August 29, 2019.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Lisa Burt at lisa.burt@dodd.ohio.gov.
