With the state operating budget finally wrapped up, it is important to thank our elected officials for their commitment to services for people with developmental disabilities.

Attached you will find a draft thank you letter you can send to the specific Representatives and Senators. We encourage you to send the letters to all Senators and Representatives that represent all of the districts you provide services in. Please note the letter is a template. The letter focuses on the DSP wage increase for HPC but you can add other budget initiatives that you believe will positively impact your business. Please feel free to personalize the letter as you see fit. The red text should be revised so the letter is addressed and signed appropriately.

To email a thank you to your Senator, use the Senator’s last name @ohiosenate.gov (ex: touvelle@ohiosenate.gov)

To email a thank you to your Representative, use Rep#@ohiohouse.gov (ex: Rep1@ohiohouse.gov)
