CLI uses a local broker and we offer a 4000/8000 deductible plan through Aetna.  We offer employees a choice between a "light HSA" plan v. a "heavy HSA" plan.  The difference is that one pays more on the premium, the other contributes much more toward the HSA.  It's the same Aetna plan either way.  We offer ancillary insurance options that we partially fund through Guardian, which aren't particularly good.

Health care is the most unrewarding employee benefit.  It's crazy that we (CLI & employees) pay so much to get so little.

We have Gallagher as our insurance broker! I HIGHLY recommend them! Very personable and very good at explaining the whole insurance topic to people. – They helped us modify an existing plan with Medical Mutual and saved our company thousands!

Subject: FW: List Serve Question

Member question for List serve.

I had a question for the list serve if possible.

I am wondering who other agencies use for health insurance?  What type of insurance are they offering to their employees?  Any other health insurance related information would greatly help.

Thank you,
