We would not do in house because I wouldn’t want to risk making a mistake on employment taxes.  We use Paycor. I like that we were able to have our payroll downloaded directly from Connect A Voice, our electronic documentation system, into Advisor, our billing system, into Paycor so there is no manual data entry, it’s all automated.  That has saved us significant money in administrative costs. I also like that our employees have a login to Paycor so they can see all their payroll information without having to ask us.

I was wondering if you could put a question on the list serve as to what payroll system other providers are using?  Are they using an in house or a 3rd party and if using a 3rd party would they mind naming the company they are using.
