Hello Everyone,

Several of you have reached out seeking additional guidance in submitting written testimony concerning the day array.

As you are writing your testimony, here are some suggestions and reminders of things to consider. We have also attached a template you can use to build your testimony and then transfer to your letterhead. Please be sure to make your testimony unique to your experiences as a provider!

We recommend that for any of the day array services, you focus on antiquated rate models that do not reflect the community-based services you are mandated to provide. We also suggest you support Director Davis’s transportation initiative by noting the need for adequate funding to get people to and from the community for day array and/or HPC services. If you also provide HPC, we recommend you focus on HPC DSP wages. And don’t forget to support Director Miller’s budget initiatives if you are an OOD provider J.

**We encourage you NOT to call out the wages of day array staff, although you can point out that you need more staff to provide services in the community versus in a facility. If you have questions about this, feel free to email me at lmathis@opra.org or call 479-799-2711***

Once your testimony is written, please email it to me by end of day Wednesday, 4/10 at lmathis@opra.org . I will then deliver all of your testimony to Chairman Romanchuck.

Thanks and have a great weekend!

Lisa
