The revised MUI rule emphasizes that agency Board members must be trained on the MUI rule. There are 3 separate ways in which you can provide this training. You may use either of the attached PowerPoint presentations or a soon to be uploaded MUI curriculum, which will be housed on the MUI section of DODD’s website. We will let you know when the curriculum is posted.

Be sure to document that your Board members have received this training. DODD’s Provider Compliance Unit will not be issuing citations for about three months, to give providers time to come into compliance. You will be cited after the 3 month window is up.
