Hi everyone. Per the call this morning, attached is the list of key legislative contacts for the budget process. If one of these legislators represents you, we encourage you to reach out and schedule a time for them to visit your location(s) and see the services you provide. You can take this opportunity to talk with them about your struggles with DSP recruitment and retention – our #1 issue.

Please let us know when a visit occurs and any take away you might have from the time spent. Knowing that these meetings have occurred is important, as our lobbyists can then initiate follow up contact.

Please note that you should not feel limited by this list. These folks are on key committees that will be hearing testimony on the caregiver (workforce) crisis. Meetings with other members of the legislature is also encouraged.
