We would like for you to include what you are referencing as “on behalf of” hours as we feel the rule regards these as HPC hours.  Hope that answers your question?

I have a question about this survey.  I think it is a good idea and I am more than willing to complete it.

However, as I sat down with it, I realize the last paragraph before the questions says:  “Using only HPC related staff hours.”

Typically it is not the HPC hours that put my staff into overtime.  More often than not, it is the “on behalf of” hours, which, of course, our Co. Bd. doesn’t allow us to bill for.  (At least, they don’t allow us to bill for the majority of them: laundering, cleaning, grocery shopping, traveling back from taking an individual to spend the weekend with a parent, etc.)   So the survey is not going to give a very realistic photo of the overtime hours, our staff are doing.

I assume I still should complete the survey “using only HPC related staff hours.”      Is that correct?

Thanks.
