We use OPEN Online as a screening tool before offering the position, but
then we have them fill out the paperwork and complete the official BMV
Driving Abstract post offer.

It clearly states that it is not an official abstract.  We may use this
site as a screening tool, but plan to continue getting the official
abstract from the BMV.

it states a "certified" driver abstract from BMV...anyone know if they
consider the one online that is "unofficial" as certified?

To my knowledge, Licensure looks at Personnel files and Medicaid does
not.
Does anyone know if this new standard about not having an "official"
drivers' license abstract is in writing anywhere? Jim Seminara has
dinged us
more than once because the abstract didn't have the State of Ohio seal.

Hello everyone,

Ironically, yesterday at our meeting we talked about what is acceptable
and not acceptable for driving abstracts in regard to Licensure....
Today I had a review, and the surveyor told me that  they will accept
the "unofficial" abstract that you can print for free from the BMV
website.
