HR and Workforce Committee Members,

Thank you everyone who was able to join us yesterday for the combined HR/Workforce Committee Meeting. Yesterday we had Jason Umstot and Angie Finck from Licking County Board of Developmental Disabilities present on how they are working with provider agencies to determine if interested community members are eligible to work as direct support professionals. Angie talked about many of the documents the county board, other county officials, and providers had to develop and approve before beginning this partnership. We had some requests for those documents and Angie has been gracious to share those with us. You will find them attached. We also discussed the upcoming competency and longevity based add-on for DSPs with 60 hours of qualified training and two years of experience. DODD has put together a short guide on the add-on.
