Hello all,
The Central Ohio Trauma-Informed Care Collaborative in cooperation with NECCO will be providing/hosting a FREE training in South Point, OH on 7/12/18. Dr. Angela Ray of the Franklin County Board of DD and
Dr. Ron Luce of The John W. Clem Recovery House in Athens and a member of the Southeast Trauma Informed Care Collaborative will provide a 6 hour foundational training covering the following objectives:
- Define trauma; Describe trauma-informed and trauma-responsive care
- Describe the ACE study and the essential elements of trauma and resilience assessments
- Discover practical resilience-building strategies to use in any setting
Registration information is included in the attached flyer. Please feel free to share with your partners across any discipline. The capacity for this training is large (300), so please spread the word far
and wide. If you have any questions, please let me know.
