It is expected that Senate President Keith Faber will announce at 10am today that the senate will adopt the house approach to Medicaid expansion.  This is a disappointment as it kicks the can down the road, doesn't lead to a robust discussion in the senate and allows the legislature to do nothing and expansion would be dead in the legislature.  It is also speculated that there will be no discussion/testimony on Medicaid expansion in the Senate Finance Medicaid Subcommittee.

The ballot issue may proceed, we will know more about that later this week.
