This is sad outcome of a longterm employee.  As a Board member, if Janice and the Executive Committee could reassure the Board that this termination will not put OPRA in any potential legal situation.  I’m sure Mark followed protocol and Teri has be working under poor performance evaluations and a plan of correction.  I know this is being framed as a reorganization thus no explanation needs to be given, but I also just want to be reassured that OPRA does not have any risk of suit.

I’m not interested in micro managing OPRA staff, but anytime a long term employee is let go, I just want to make sure that protocol was followed and we are not at risk.

To that end, we have recently implemented a reorganization that will allow us to streamline operations in a way that supports our core mission.
