I think DODD is just trying to find a way to support providers if this thing ramps up, I’m not sure, without the County Boards involved, it will work.   I don’t no anything about counties I don’t work in.

I was glad to be able to be on the call although I felt I was playing catch-up as Ginnie spoke.  Somehow I didn’t’ fully get the picture of this during the board meeting last week.
I would like more information (that you said you are getting) to understand the role and responsibilities of the regional reps. I like having the direct access to info, etc. Yet,  I also don’t want to commit to something I can’t do.

In a time when we are challenged to engage members at the district level, this could be one way to demonstrate value. Just a thought that I hope I don’t regret sharing…..

I hope you are well.

First of all, I would like to thank you, for those of you who could, for taking time to be on the call with the DODD.

My main take away from the call is there is a lot more information needed and clear communication strategies need to be established.  As I said at the Board meeting last week when this group was discussed, OPRA will support you and be the lead for communication with this.  I think the main thing is to help each other identify where the problems are and get the “strike force” involved as needed.

We are also working with OACB on a plan on how County Boards support providers locally and provide needs, we must coordinate the efforts of these two groups.  I will touch base with GInnie on this.

I would like to hear your concerns and thoughts.
